Selection Process
The selection of a new Dandee Donut Factory storeowner is the most important decision involving an extensive interview/approval process. Not everyone who applies for a Dandee Donut Factory meets the criteria to be a licensee. We strive to ensure that each storeowner possesses the necessary entrepreneurial spirit, management skills, financial means and dedication, which is required in today's ever-changing world.
We are proud of our dedicated licensees, who exemplify and execute The Dandee Donut Factory's principles and standards of operation on a daily basis. We carefully select
hands-on owner/operators, who will devote their efforts on a full-time, long-term basis to running their restaurant (
NOT MULTI STORE OPERATORS). Our experience over the years in the donut business has indicated that a spousal team, or a team of two or more family members, is the key to effectively managing a successful 12 or 24-hour operation.
These basic principles are best executed by owner/operators who are dedicated entirely to the hands-on operation of their Dandee Donut Factory restaurants, and are supported by our trained staff.
Each licensee's opportunity to be considered for more than one location is typically based upon their performance in and operating their existing Dandee Donut Factory location. Our licensing methods do not include awarding an area or regional territory.

Training Program
Licensees go through an extensive four-week training program at one of our stores. We provide our trainees with intensive hands-on experience in the preparation of all Dandee Donut products. Strong emphasis is placed on food handling and cleanliness procedures, employee/owner relationships, equipment maintenance and in-store security systems and procedures.
Additionally, upon successfully completing the four week training program, we spend one week doing "on-the-job training" in your-operational Dandee Donut Factory.

Support Team
Here at The Dandee Donut Factory we stand together with you in your success. Providing you with all the valuable information and support needed to succeed. Our corporate staff offers continuing training and support in advertising and marketing, new product development, and tips and techniques in managing a profitable, quality operation.
The Dandee Donut Factory will supply you with virtually everything you need to run your shop. From the equipment and furnishings for your shop, all of the mixes, toppings and other ingredients and supplies for your products, and the packaging and paper goods to serve your customers.
Also, promotional items, novelties, and joint advertising buying power. From, caps, and thermal mugs with The Dandee Donut Factory logo, posters, and point-of-sale material are among the items available.
And, of course, there is a large selection of clothing with The Dandee Donut Factory logo. Everything is designed to promote the positive, quality of The Dandee Donut Factory product and image.

Approximate Costs
The initial investment required for a Dandee Donut Factory will vary, depending on your particular needs and choices. The complete package for a super store (
donut baking facility, these stores are typically free standing buildings with a drive-thru & are open 24 hrs) are only purchased through The Dandee Donut Factory. If the licensee leases the premises from The Dandee Donut Factory, the total cost of the license package will vary between approximately $150,00 to $275,000 for the equipment cost & construction (plus sales tax). Approximately $2,330 to $11,500 for real estate costs, and a license fee to be determined depending on the location.

What if I don't want to make my own donuts?
Satellite stores (
Non donut baking facility() vary in costs but usually range between $50,000-$90,000 depending on your particular needs and choices. This type of store is a great alternative to the high costs of a Super Store which produces it's own donuts. (
We highly recommend this type of store for your first location() We set the store up for you.

Market Area
Market Area is where the Program is currently being offered. Currently this is only available in the greater South Florida area.
Financing of the cost of the equipment, trade fixtures, furniture and interior/exterior signs is the responsibility of the licensee.
An initial payment toward the equipment package (equipment, furniture, trade fixtures and signage) of $10,000,would be payable upon execution of the documentation with the balance payable upon completion of your location.
Please note: Potential licensees who are not U.S. citizens who intend to acquire a store will need to comply with United States immigration laws and regulations.
